Which character – as performed by Justine Eyre – was your favorite?Īlex, Aiden, and Seth. I figured with them being gods they could take the power of the god killer out of her and let her live with her love ones. I just could't believe after all she did for them they still killed her. Their night in Vegas and when the gods came to kill her. What was one of the most memorable moments of Sentinel? I love the main characters Alex and Aiden.

Where does Sentinel rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?ĥ out of 5. I think she’d be great reading other stories but perhaps not one like this with so many different characters that need a voice. I have never been more aware of the word ‘okay’ and how many times it was used because of how she said it. I suffered through it and I eventually got used to her for the main narration and Alex’s voice but absolutely hated the voices used for the male characters, especially Aiden. The narrator also just didn’t do it for me. One more chapter to go into the following year or something would’ve given this more closure. I also felt this last book desperately needed an epilogue or something to tie up loose ends. It made it hard to believe that these two guys could fall in love with her considering how she acted most of the time. Aiden came across as a saint for dealing with her and even Seth, for all his flaws, was ridiculously patient with her constant craziness throughout the series. Always having to hit someone or rebel just for the sake of rebelling which got annoying. She was an immature, physically violent and bratty character.

Those left standing will find out if love is truly greater than fate.I felt very torn with this series because while I enjoyed the overall plot, I was not a huge fan of the main character or how this ended. Once the gods have revealed themselves and unleashed their wrath, lives will be irrevocably changed – and destroyed. Awesome.īut as Alex’s birthday draws near, her entire world is shattered by a startling revelation.

Alex still has feelings for Aiden, even though he’s a pure-blood…and therefore forbidden. If anyone finds out what she did, she’s a goner – and so is Aiden. If she even makes it.Ī long-forgotten, fanatical order is out to kill her and, if that isn’t freaky enough, Alex is guarding a dark secret, too.
